Porter’s Pub located at Bowes Creek was created as an “English” style restaurant and bar because of the rolling hills and creeks that dominate the golf course property. The design enhances the elements of classic public houses found in England and features wood and tiled floors, tin ceilings, massive bars, unique light fixtures, tap handles, warm colors and comfortable seating. Porter’s comfort food paired with it’s energetic, casual and relaxed atmosphere reflects the “English” theme, enhances the golf course experience, and brings the Elgin community and surrounding neighborhoods a place they can enjoy and visit year-round.
